International jazz trumpeter Hugh Ragin will be giving a concert for his doctorate at University of Colorado, Boulder, on March 9. The public is invited. Hugh is a frequent performer in jazz concerts around the world, and is a director for Colorado Jazz Workshop. If you are a jazz fan, you will want to attend.
All the details about next week's concert are at the University of Colorado Web site. The concert is from 4:30 to 6:30 PM, and the music will be original compositions by Ragin. He will be accompanied by Ronald Jolly, piano; Manuel Lopez, percussion; and John Gunther, lap top realization.
