Instead of here at idealawg, this interview has been posted in The Complete Lawyer. Read my interview of Dean Polden and Professor Cullen.
It is with much excitement that I tell you one of the next interviews at idealawg will be of Dean Donald Polden (at left) and Professor Robert Cullen (at right) from my alma mater Santa Clara University School of Law. They will be telling us about their pioneering program focused on leadership for lawyers. Please click through to read my last post about how and why SCU is in the vanguard of teaching lawyers how to be leaders. This law school has jumped into a gaping void with enthusiasm, dedication, and talent. I think you will see how seriously they are taking their mission to address lawyer leadership when you read the interview. I think you also will understand why I am proud to be a graduate of SCU School of Law; the principles and values the University and the School of Law take seriously shine through everything they do and are instilled in the students. (My sister received her undergraduate degree from SCU.)
(Another gift of the Internet: Hear Dean Polden speak at the Deans Forum on Socio-Economics at the 2006 Association of American Law Schools Annual Meeting.)
Note (added February 21, 2007, 5:15 PM Mountain): This idealawg interview of Dean Polden and Professor Cullen will be published as an article in a summer edition of The Complete Lawyer. I will post the link as soon as it is available; the article is one you will not want to miss!
