At this year's National Mediation Conference in Sydney (September 10-13), Fredrike Bannink will be one of the speakers. A couple of years ago, I saw a program she gave and it was one of the top five mediation presentations and demos I have ever had the good fortune to attend. Her book on mediation is excellent too.
On the NMC Web site, you can listen to many programs delivered at the 2010 conference. Click to listen.

Note (added February 19, 2012): This article is a good overview of the solution-focused approach: "The Solution-Focused Mindset: An Empirical Test of Solution-Focused Assumptions" [pdf] (www.solutionfocusedchange.com).
