Some Thursday lawyer amusement for you all

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I learned of attorney Bob Noone early today. Since then, he has brought me many smiles. Noone is a former seminarian who now practices law in Logan, West Virginia. He also performs, singing with his backup band The Well Hung Jury. Through the gift of YouTube, you can watch and hear Bob and group sing "Cover of the ABA" and "My Will."

Or at CD Baby, listen to samples from his CD Chicken Suit for the Lawyer's Soul.

Not as amusing to me are two other YouTube offerings. Since senses of humor are so individual, the videos may be a match for your funny bone so I am including them here.  Here's Parody of On-Campus Interview and the TV ad of Arnie Ping-Certified, Yet Extremely Limited, Attorney at Law.

And finally you may listen to some sample lawyer ring tones.

Noone closes out his bio with this line: "A one-time seminarian, Bob sees his music as a ministry to help lawyers laugh at themselves."  As an enthusiastic supporter of laughter, I am often touting its benefits. So I really like this guy Bob.

Note (added August 12, 2007, 2:14 PM Mountain): Listen to Noone and the Well Hung Jury singing "Upwardly Mobile Love." To hear samples from lawyer Lawrence Savell's holiday CD with law-related carols, go to Savell's humor site and click on the album. To hear the Bar & Grill Singers (other singing lawyers), as well as some singing neuroscientists, go to my earlier post Singing lawyers and now singing neuroscientists — The Amygdaloids: Neuroscientists as rock stars.

Note (added August 13, 2007, 4:10 PM Mountain): More great lawyer fun for you. Here are two videos created by Vickie Pynchon set to two songs of the Bar & Grill Singers: "I'm Billing Time" and "Appointed Forever."

Note (added September 3, 2007, 6:00 PM Mountain): Another singing lawyer (well, almost—Josh Keesan is still a law student).
