Graying of the Bar: A golden contribution to the questions and challenges presented by an aging legal profession

Last night I turned in a chapter I am contributing to an upcoming book for lawyers. While I was finishing up the writing, I was  thinking in the back corners of my mind about what I would say to describe an extraordinarily valuable post written by David Giacalone at f/k/a. I considered "thought-provoking" and "highly recommended" but I was not the only one with such ideas. Those are a few of the words used at Legal Profession Blog by Alan Childress to describe the post by Giacalone. Another word Childress used was "sad." I agree with that descriptive word, too.

You most certainly will want to read "the Graying Bar: let's not forget the ethics." Giacalone has posted an overview of the issues related to the aging of the legal profession. Now is the time to be thinking about the many serious implications of this demographic shift. I am very glad Giacalone is doing that thinking. Do not miss his post. And, thanks, David!
