Learning & the Brain offers several events each year. (In August, I attended one of their Summer Institutes.) Their conference coming up in May on "The Science of Success" looks especially worthwhile. Speakers include Sian Beilock ( CHOKE: What the Secrets of the Brain Reveal About Getting It Right When You Have To) , Daniel Coyle (The Talent Code: Greatness Isn’t Born. It’s Grown. Here’s How), Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi (Finding Flow: The Psychology of Engagement with Everyday Life), and Mark J. Fenske (The Winner’s Brain: 8 Strategies Great Minds Use to Achieve Success).
