I appreciate Geert Hofstede's work and reference it a lot. It is interesting to know how different cultures can be. One thing that is hard to get Americans to do is adjust their sales and marketing to match these differences.
With the weak dollar and stronger European economy it is really time for people to pay attention to the differences and target their marketing more towards how others think.
